The India-ASEAN Delhi Dialogue is an annual international conference of political and economic leaders, officials, academics and opinion-makers of ASEAN countries with their Indian counterparts to discuss how to intensify and broaden political, strategic, economic and civil society interaction between the two regions.
Continuing along the same line, the Delhi Dialogue II, held on 21-22 January, 2010 saw the focus on regional security and cooperation with the theme of examining India and Southeast Asia in the Changing Regional Economic Dynamics of Asia: Shared Interests and Concerns. The Hon’ble External Affairs Minister of India, H.E. Shri S M Krishna and the Deputy ASEAN Secretary General H.E. Mr Pushpanathan Sundram graced the Delhi Dialogue II. Prominent international participants in the dialogue included Dr. Nam Viyaketh(Laos), Mr. Hidetoshi Nishimura(Indonesia), Mr. Rodolfo C. Severino(Singapore), Ambassador K Kesavapany(Singapore), Ambassador See Chak Mun(Singapore) , Mr. Johnny N. Chotrani(Philippines), Mr. Deepak Mittal(Thailand), Mr. Fukunari Kimura(Indonesia), to name few.
